St. Cloud Technical & Community College Bookstore Rental Agreement

You have entered into a rental agreement with SCTCC BOOKStore for the current semester.

Per terms of this agreement, you are responsible for the following:

• I understand the rental textbook(s) is the property of the bookstore, owned and operated by St. Cloud Technical & Community College. To rent a textbook(s), I must pay the rental price for the applicable textbook(s) and secure the rental(s) with a debit/credit card. By accepting the terms of the textbook rental agreement, I promise to return the rented textbook(s) to the bookstore in good, undamaged condition. I understand excessive writing, underlining, marking and/or highlighting is not permitted for rental textbooks.

• Student Tech ID number is required to process all rental returns.
• I authorize the bookstore to charge the securing debit/credit card provided, or should the debit/credit card be dishonored, to charge my St. Cloud Technical & Community College student account the dollar amount equivalent to the original price minus the rental price.
  • The rented textbooks are not returned or postmarked on or before the last day of the semester by 5:00 p.m.
  • The rented textbooks are returned in a non-saleable condition.
  • The rented textbooks have been lost or stolen.
