WHAT ITEMS ARE COVERED?

  • Required textbooks and course materials are covered. Please select used textbooks, DO NOT select rentals, physical textbook must be picked before e-textbook. E-textbook must be picked before textbook with access code. Optional/recommended text are not covered.

HOW DO I GET MY TEXTBOOKS?

  • Textbooks can be picked up in-store or ordered online. Directions can be found under Textbooks ? How to Find Textbooks In-Store or Textbooks ? How to Order Textbooks Online. Orders placed online can be shipped to you (UPS) or picked up at the campus bookstore. For online orders, you will receive an e-mail confirming your order has been received. You will receive a second e-mail when your order has been fulfilled and ready to be picked up or shipped. Please wait for your second e-mail before coming to the bookstore to pick up your web order. Your order number is required to pick up your web order.

WHAT DO I DO IF MY REQUIRED MATERIAL IS OUT OF STOCK?

  • If your course material(s) are out of stock, please place an online order. For online orders, you will receive an e-mail confirming your order has been received. You will receive a second e-mail when your order has been fulfilled and ready to be picked up or shipped. Please wait for your second e-mail before coming to the bookstore to pick up your web order. Your order number is required to pick up your web order.

DO I NEED A SCTCC BOOKSTORE CUSTOMER ACCOUNT TO PLACE AN ONLINE ORDER?

  • Yes, you will need to create an online account that will be used by the campus store to manage your order and shipping information. Please choose an email you check regularly. You will need your Tech ID (not your social security, not your star ID, or phone number) to create your account.

HOW DO I PAY FOR MY PSEO TEXTBOOKS AND COURSE MATERIALS?

  • Required books and consumable goods (art kits, program kits) are covered under the PSEO funds. Non-consumable supplies such as googles, tools, calculators, multimeters, knives, program shirts, etc. are not covered by the PSEO fund. When buying your items online, please select "Student Account" as your payment option at check out.

WHEN DO I NEED TO RETURN MY PSEO ITEMS?

  • PSEO items, such as physical textbooks, are due by the last day of the semester or sooner if you drop your course(s).  Course materials like art kits, program kits, or used access codes do not need to be returned.  Optional/recommended items that were purchased using a credit/debit card are yours to keep. You may return your items to the bookstore during finals week or by mail (Please note the bookstore does not pay for return shipping). All PSEO books are the property of the bookstore and must be returned to the bookstore in good condition. Students will be responsible for paying for any textbooks that are damaged (water, torn pages etc.) or not returned. Returns by mail must be postmarked by the last day of the semester. Please include your name, student ID number, and phone number in your return.

WHAT IF I DROP A CLASS?

  • Books and Course Materials from dropped, switched, or cancelled classes must be returned or exchanged immediately. The course materials need to be in original condition and a receipt is required. E-books/access codes cannot be scratched or accessed.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I DO NOT RETURN MY PSEO ITEMS?

  • If textbooks are not returned and the student has not paid the replacement fees, a hold will be placed on the students’ records until all textbook fees are paid in full through the Business Office. Students with holds will NOT be allowed to register for classes or pick-up textbooks for future courses until all textbook fees have been paid.
