Return Policy - Keep Your Receipt!

All course material refunds require a receipt issued within the first 10 business days of the start of each term (summer is five days).  After that date, return policy is two business days. Course materials including books, kits and access codes must be returned in the condition they were purchased.

 

Return Policy Details:

  • Return must include a receipt (returns without a receipt risk not being refunded)
  • Textbooks must be returned in the same condition as received
  • Access codes/ eTextbooks must be unscratched or accessed
  • Clothing and general merchandise purchased in-store or online must be returned within 14 days of purchase and must be in original condition with tags attached
  • Sales of supplies and non-required items are returnable for refund or replacement, only if defective. If deemed defective, item will be replaced at no charge
  • Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable  
  • Online orders not picked up within the first 10 business days of the start of each term (summer is five days)/ two business days after the 10th business day. will be refunded
  • ALL returns are at the discretion of the BOOKStore staff
  • Financial Aid refunds may be issued by the Business Office

Non-returnable items:

  • Opened, used, scratched access codes and eTextbooks
  • Opened program kits
  • Study aids, study and testing guides
  • Worn, used, tags removed clothing or general merchandise items
  • Computer software/hardware
  • Opened electronic items

Order Abandonment Policy:

It is the policy of the St. Cloud Technical & Community College BOOKStore that all online orders must be picked up from the BOOKStore within 14 calendar days of the order being processed by the BOOKStore.

The SCTCC BOOKStore will make a reasonable effort to notify the students that their order is available for pick up. Any orders that are not claimed within 14 calendar days shall be deemed abandoned and placed on the shelf for purchase.
